Synopsis:
Pups Save Jake's Cake:It's Jake's birthday, and Mayor Goodway and Mr. Porter have finished making the cake with ice-cream sculptures of Everest and Jake at the top. Ryder calls them to see if the cake is ready. Showing the cake, Mayor Goodway says that the cake is ready for the record books. Amazed with the cake, Ryder praises both of them for making the cake. Mr. Porter and Mayor Goodway say that the cake is made with lots of fruits. After Ryder tells how everything should play after that, they are going to bring the cake to Jake's mountain.Next, Ryder calls Everest to check the preparation. Everest says that everything is OK and she keeps watching Jake so he won't know the surprise. After Everest finishes her conversation with Ryder, Jake returns after cleaning her snow cat. Jake tries to remind Everest about his birthday, but the only thing Everest says is her day to go to Katie's Pet Parlor. Left disappointed, Jake tries to enter his cabin, but Everest disagrees and asks him to go with her. Jake agrees, and they both go to Katie's pet parlor.Meanwhile, Mr. Porter is ready with his van. The problem is, the cake is too big for the van, and too heavy to carry up to Jake's mountain. Having these problems, Mayor Goodway calls Ryder for some help. Receiving the call, Ryder calls the pups. Marshall ends up sliding with paint, before crashing into the other pups. After making a joke, the pups line up for mission. Ryder summons Rocky and Rubble to handle the job. Once done, they are heading to Mr. Porter's Café.After Rocky sets the wagon and Rubble lands the cake, the cake is ready to go. Finding out the cake is too heavy for Rubble's crane, Ryder calls Everest to stall Jake a little longer. After the call ends, Cap'n Turbot passes by with some birthday hats. Panicked, Everest tries to make him hide the hats and make sure that he has something to hold Jake. At the end, Cap'n Turbot succeeds in doing that by asking Jake to wash barnacles off the Flounder.Meanwhile, the cake is getting heavier to carry towards Jake's mountain. The rest of the pups are already heading to the place. A bit of time later, Ryder realizes that the ice-cream sculpture of Jake is melting. Ryder calls Zuma to freeze the sculpture back with his hovercraft. After the problem is solved, they continue the journey. At the Flounder, Jake is struggling cleaning the barnacles. Knowing this, Cap'n Turbot throws a wink, replied by a giggle from Everest.Back to the cake, Rubble slips his crane, making the cake fall back down the road. Ryder asks Chase to catch the cake, and he succeeds. Marshall points out the next problem is that the sun is starting to set and time is running out. Realizing this, Ryder decides to make a pup train to carry the cake.At the same time, Skye notices that Jake and Everest are heading back home. Rubble says they are not going to make it, but Ryder calls Everest for assistance, forcing Jake to walk the entire way. After she arrives, Everest joins the train. Finally, Jake arrives at his home at sunset, with no-one at the surrounding. Almost heart-broken, Jake gets a surprise birthday from everyone. Everest shows the cake behind the curtain, and everyone shares a good laugh to end the story.Pups Save a Wild Ride:The story starts with Alex chasing his snowboarding badge with some practice from Jake, but fails when Alex can't stop his board correctly. When Jake tries to cheer up Alex, Daring Danny X shows up with his snowboarding trick. Amazed with his skill, Alex asks Jake if he sees the trick, but unfortunately, Jake's face has been covered by snow.At Jake's house, Ryder with the pups are staying and doing some Pup Pup Boogie. Everest looks happy to see Rocky and Skye watching, but then Rocky asks Everest to play. Without knowing how to play the game and the speed rate, Everest is unsure how to play the game, but Skye asks her to do what she does. At the end, Everest can't follow Skye and slips, making her and Marshall to crash. Feeling disappointed, Marshall tries to cheer Everest up.The pups find a box, containing some bracelets after Chase opens the box. Ryder finds the paper inside, and reads it. The bracelets are called "I Do, You Do Bracelets". When two pups are using it, the bracelets' effect will let one pup to copy what the other pup's doing. After Ryder tells how to use them, Skye and Everest try them on. The bracelets work well. Everest copies what Skye is doing. Realizing this, they try the game once again. This time, Everest can keep up with Skye. After some time, Everest asks Skye to stop the game, just to take off the bracelets, so they can practice normally. Alex tries to use the bracelets, but Rocky makes a joke with it saying that Alex is going to learn Pup Pup Boogie as well. Skye interrupts Rocky to ask him to turn on the game. Alex is left wondering about the bracelets' effect.Back outside, Danny is practicing his snowboarding, but gets interrupted by Alex that makes him crash into the snow. Alex wants Danny to teach how to snowboard. Danny says that it will take time, but Alex denies it by showing the bracelets and explaining the effect. They put on the bracelets. And once again, the bracelets work. Alex can copy Danny so he can snowboard well. When Alex thinks that the basic moves are good enough, Danny takes it to the next level. But the problem starts when Danny crashes through a tree covered with snow, making him rub his goggles. Because of the bracelets, Alex copies Danny's moves, which is not needed. Jake notices this and tries to call them to avoid the Risky Ridge, but fails since they're too far away. Finally, Jake calls Ryder. After getting the info, Ryder calls the pups to go into the PAW Patroller. Marshall makes a spin, and continues until he crashes into the other pups. After making a joke, the pups are lined up. Picking up Skye, Rocky, and Everest, the PAW Patrol are ready.Arriving at Jake's spot, Ryder has a look to see Alex and Danny. Skye drops down her claw to connect Rocky. Meanwhile, Everest is going to catch Alex.Meanwhile, Rocky has informed both Alex and Danny to stop. Rocky tries to catch Danny, but fails. After that, Everest catches Alex. Knowing that Alex is wearing the bracelets on, Everest contacts Ryder and Jake to inform them of this, and surprised to know that Danny is wearing the other set. Ryder asks Rocky to put the bracelets on Danny off, and succeeds. This also makes Alex's bracelets switch off, stopping him from copying Danny. Panicked, Alex is out of control, but manages to stop after encouragement from Everest. Back to Danny, Skye swoops in with her claw to connect Rocky and Danny. Both Danny and Alex are saved. At the bottom, Alex says that he needs no bracelets at all and he will learn snowboarding by himself to get the snowboard badge, replied by Everest in terms of the Pup Pup Boogie. Hearing the Pup Pup Boogie name, Danny is left confused.Later on, Everest, Danny, and Alex are practicing Pup Pup Boogie, and Danny is amazed with the game. They try to do the tail spin, but Danny overdoes it, making him to crash into the snow pile. Everyone shares a good laugh to end the story.
