Plot: None Ever Wake to Weep is a stop-motion animated film inspired by the letters of Mrs. David M. Deysher to her son Private Ellwood Deysher in 1918. The film explores how humankind utilizes denial as a survival tool to mentally persevere. How we adjust our perception of reality so that we may continue living in an unfavorable environment. Every aspect of the sets was made by hand, from the sandbags to the individual barbs of the barb wire. The film was created single-handedly by Kenyon College student Hallie S. Bahn—Anonymous
