Plot: "Eya Pohui" (Me, dust) is a short film that oscillates between documentary and fiction portraying the different inhabitants and landscapes that conform the Madre De Dios River in Perú, a place with traces of ancestral mysticism but at the same time victim of the growing globalization. This film was shot during a 12-day workshop in the jungles of Perú under the guidance of the German director Werner Herzog. 48 filmmakers across the globe were selected to participate and were sent to the Tambopata region with one task: to come out with a film.
